I was going to give you an 8, but then the ending had noob written all over it.

Your face has noob written all over it

LOVE IT!

Good song, love the simple animation. I think it would look smoother if you used it in 15 FPS instead of what looks to be 12 FPS. It is recommended that you use 24 FPS for the best results, but again, that would be very time consuming, this looks like it was done frame by frame.

This is pretty good...

Cons:

Where is the thumb on the guys left hand?
The tag/necklace is rectangular, not triangular.
His clothes don't look like they have any folds (if they did, I think your picture animation would receive a higher rating).

Pros:
Smooth movement
Comfortable background gradient
shadows aren't over done

GJ 7/10

tunganga responds:

i make my animation easier by removng the thumb, i replaced the ID with a mouse cursor, the clothes is plain as the pants because i don't like to be detailed that much, which gives way to the skin and movement, that way i am not just copying but creating my own art.

thanks for the pointers :)

Only two 9's in 5 pages of reviews n the rest 10s

and nearly 15,000 votes, with 137,225 views (and counting!!!), with the Weekly Users' Choice, the Review Crew Pick, the Daily Feature, and a 10/5/faves from myself, this is cost worthy. You are ready for the big world. Griffin (or Griffith was it?) Film school must be a good one. I hope you have a job in animation and are wealthy from it, because I want to see the greatest things become animated-it's fun to make and fun to watch and all the better.

You probably won't read this review since there are nearly 2,000 reviews-enough to make you consider this spam. I too want to animate. Ok, so now for my review:

I think I will list the things that were good and give my opinion on what needs work since reading paragraphs can sometimes be a hassle.

Good:
-3D
-Music
-Gradients
-Smoothness
-Story line (This is the most important)
-Animation FX (sparks, the fight the Tarboy had with the bad guy in the factory)
-Characters (Especially the Grandpa robot which I didn't know was the janitor until the ending. That was pretty damn clever)
-Theme-Robots
-Suspense (perfect timing with the next scene because it didn't drag)

Bad:
-I think the voice acting in the beginning with the grandpa was a tad to fast.

Conclusion:
Have your professor look at all of the reviews-it seems as though he/she won't have to do anything except give you and Hania a 10. Congratulations!!!

Sweet, I wanna be in something like this

I don't want to sound "weird" but I've always wanted to do animated group projects like this. It takes too much time to make a ginormous animation by 1 person. If you have any more projects like this lemme know, I'd be glad to put some "originality" into it. Check out "The Evolving Stick Fight" by Lord1Mauler to see what I mean.

-Peace

Nice storyline

but your animation makes poop look good!

hahahahaahahahahahahahaha

FUCKING HILARIOUS!

You are a super nerd Congrats-5,10, faves.

PretendTheresPurpose responds:

Actually, our calculus assignment was to either make a creative presentation, or to read a book (about math of course!) and write a report. I figured this was less nerdy of the two.

SWEET JESUS!!!

I loved it! Before I give you my criticisms, I would like to congratulate you-you're going on my favorites! lol. This is quite awesome. I have done claymations in the past-it's not easy.

Tips & Criticisms: The beginning was very choppy because the U.F.O. flew in with only a couple of frames. I was beginning to think that your movie was going to be one of those short pieces of shit, but it began to be very entertaining!

I suggest that the next time you do a claymation that you set your camera to a low quality setting for pictures such as 600x600 (or there-a-bouts). Take about 2 or 3 pictures of every move you make with the play doh/clay because this will make the motion smoother. You could either do it that way or move your play doh/clay slower and take more pictures. I wouldn't worry about the button too much unless you wanted a 3 or higher (I haven't quite figured it out myself either).

Questions: So are you still in 4th grade? Cause that's DAMN good! A lot of youngsters seem to better than me... probably because I'm somewhat new to the technology-I had to draw with my hand before they came out with this software!

Comments: KEEP IT UP!

5, 10, faves, respect.

TinyQ responds:

thanks! im 14 now and my new movie will be much much better

that was really long

i wish there were no subtitles-just plain english, would have made me more attentive to your animation, not the subs.
